Deleting your Pudwise account
You can delete your account and everything in it yourself, from inside the app. There is no form to argue with, no retention period we hold you to, and nobody reviews the request.
Do it in the app
Sign in, open the account menu in the bottom-left corner, and choose Delete account. Type DELETE to confirm. Your photos go first, then everything you have saved, then your sign-in itself. It happens while you wait.
If the app sends you here instead
Two accounts cannot delete themselves from the button. One is a rise board moderator, because that would leave the board with nobody moderating it. The other is a sign-in you also use for another Oldman AI Solutions product, because deleting it here would take that data with it, and we will not do that from a Pudwise screen. The app says which it is and sends you here.
Email oldmanaisolutions@gmail.com from the address you signed up with, with Delete my Pudwise account as the subject. Using the same address is how we confirm the request is really yours. We action it within 7 days and reply when it is done. The same route works if you can no longer sign in at all.
What gets deleted
- Your account, your email address and your sign-in details
- Your display name
- Your saved kitchens and their elevation
- Your saved recipes and every calibration behind them
- Your bake journal: ratings, notes and every photo
- Your rise board posts, comments, reactions and blocks
All of it, permanently. We do not keep a shadow copy, and photos are removed from storage as well as from the database.
Two things that go with it
Deleting a post takes the comments and reactions other bakers left on it. That is how the board is built, and it is not something we can put back afterwards.
Where a moderator ever acted on something of yours, the log keeps the fact that a decision was made and the date it was made. Your caption, comment or note is stripped out of it. What stays behind names nobody and cannot be traced to you.
What we keep, and for how long
Nothing that identifies you. Pudwise is free, so there is no payment record anywhere: we have never taken a card, and no payment processor holds a receipt with your name on it. Once the deletion runs there is nothing of yours left to keep.
If you only want some of it gone
You can do that yourself. Delete any single saved recipe or logged bake from My recipes, and its photo goes with it. Take your own bake off the rise board, or delete your own comment, from the post itself. Remove a saved kitchen from the calculator. None of that touches the rest of your account.
A copy of your data
Ask at the same address and we will send you everything we hold about you.
